TrueVendorConnect works because both sides show up honestly. These are the standards every buyer, vendor and administrator is held to.
Our principles
No gatekeeping
Share accurate sourcing information. Do not use the marketplace to block, mislead or shut out other qualified businesses.
Honest claims only
Only state what you can back up. Ownership certifications, capabilities, minimums and lead times must be truthful, and no listing may imply verification before an administrator has approved it.
Respectful communication
Inquiries and replies stay professional. No harassment, discrimination, spam or pressure tactics.
Inclusive by design
TrueVendorConnect is open to every qualified business. Ownership certifications are optional context for buyers, never a barrier to listing.
What is not allowed
- Listing a business you are not authorised to represent
- Fake, duplicated or misleading vendor profiles
- Copying another vendor's photos, descriptions or documents
- Claiming verified status, certifications or awards you have not been granted
- Using buyer contact details for unsolicited bulk marketing
- Requesting payment outside of the terms you published on your profile
- Retaliating against a buyer or vendor for honest feedback
Reporting and enforcement
If a listing, message or claim breaks these guidelines, report it through our contact form with the vendor name and what you observed. An administrator reviews every report. Depending on what we find we may request corrections, unpublish a listing, remove a verification status, or close an account. Serious or repeated violations end access to the marketplace.
TrueVendorConnect is a discovery marketplace. We are not a party to the orders you place with a vendor, so keep your own records of quotes, invoices and shipping terms.
