Verification Standards
How vendor verification works
TrueVendorConnect uses administrator document review to give beauty professionals a credible signal about a vendor's business documentation.
Documents we may request
Depending on your business type, an administrator may ask for one or more of the following:
How review works
- Vendors submit their application and upload requested documents privately.
- A TrueVendorConnect administrator reviews the submitted materials.
- The administrator approves, requests more information, or declines the application.
- Only after approval does a profile display a verified badge.
What the verified badge does and does not mean
A verified badge indicates that an administrator has reviewed the documents a vendor submitted and found them satisfactory at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of product quality, business performance, or future conduct, and it does not make TrueVendorConnect a party to any transaction between a buyer and a vendor. No vendor is displayed as verified before administrator approval.
Document privacy
Verification documents are stored privately and are visible only to authorised TrueVendorConnect administrators. They are never displayed publicly on a vendor profile.
Ownership certifications
Ownership certifications—such as Black-owned, woman-owned or veteran-owned—are voluntary and self-declared unless and until a vendor supplies formal certification documentation. Vendors are never required to disclose ownership information to be listed or verified on TrueVendorConnect.
Your documents stay private
Uploaded files are restricted to administrator review and are not shared with other users or vendors.
